Buffalo Jack
Buffalo Jack is the Sheriff of Teegrove, a former Chikyu warrior who has risen to power through sheer muscle and grit. He is outwardly friendly to most people, though is also apparently racist against Kasai, considering them "shifty and untrustworthy sand rats".

Description
Buffalo Jack is a very large man - large even for a Chikyu - who towers over most with his 7'2" frame. He has thick, dark, and bushy hair atop his head, surrounding two prominent horns. His appearance has earned him the nickname Buffalo Jack, which he embraces as his given name and introduces himself as such; no one seems to know his real name and he isn't inclined to offer it.
Not much is known about Jack's past prior to arriving in Teegrove, as he prefers not to divulge into his past and few are willing to ask. Presumably he was a warrior from Halaeth who made his way to the town of Teegrove and quickly asserted his authority via his charm and his fists. As is custom in the lands of Afon, leaders are those who rise to those positions in any way they see, and this was very beneficial to Jack's style of "punch first, apologize later".
As the Sheriff of Teegrove, Buffalo Jack keeps a loose but still undisputed rule over the town. It isn't easy to catch the ire of Jack, but those who do find themselves leaving the small town soon - willing or otherwise. Most townsfolk are tolerant of Jack's leadership, as he tends to keep things quiet if not uneventful. It is no secret though that Jack harbors quite an intolerance towards the Kasai, and those Kasai in town tend to keep their heads down if they stay any length of time.
