Exalted Archetypes in Genesys

Archetypes in Exalted refers to the type of Exalted a character is - this page details their description as well as rules for creating characters using these archetypes.

Solar Exalted

• Start with two in each characteristic
• Starting wound threshold: 10 + Brawn
• Starting strain threshold: 10 + Willpower
• Start with 150 XP
• Start with first rank in Essence talent (starting with two essence)
• Choose an additional skill to be a career skill once career has been chosen
• Get two free ranks in non-career skills
• Anima mark flares when strain is used.
  • 1-3: glitters, no effect
  • 4-6: burns, Add two setback die to all stealth checks made by the character
  • 7+: glowing aura around character, stealth impossible.

Sidereal Exalted

• Start with two in each characteristic
• Starting wound threshold: 9 + Brawn
• Starting strain threshold: 12 + Willpower
• Start with 100 XP
• Start with first rank in Essence talent (starting with two essence)
• Get five free ranks to increase any skill by one; a skill cannot be raised above 2 in this manner
• Get one free rank in Brawl
  • Anima mark flares when strain is used.
  • 1-3: glitters, no effect
  • 4-6: burns, Add two setback die to all stealth checks made by the character
  • 7+: glowing aura around character, stealth impossible.
