Teegrove is a town in Afon, a day's journey north of Fercot at the source of the Goodwig River at the edge of a thick forest. Its current Sheriff is Buffalo Jack

Description

The town of Teegrove is a small town of Afon, located about a day's journey north of the capital of Fercot by foot. It is where the source of the Goodwig River flows down south through Fercot and into the Maschnwar Sea. About 140 people reside in Teegrove, most of them human but fair populations of Elves, Chikyu, and Kasai live there as well, though the Kasai tend to be more migratory and not as permanent in their residence as the other races. Teegrove has the usual fare for a small town - inns, bars, blacksmiths, merchants, etc - as well as a small Unwar temple near the river. Surrounding the town are various barley and squash farms, and beyond those to the north and west lie the Dirgel Woods.

Like all cities of Afon, Teegrove government consists of a single source of power: the Sheriff. The Sheriff of Teegrove has been Buffalo Jack for the past four years, and while he isn't universally loved by the town - the Kasai in particular are not keen to his discrimination towards their tribes - no one has shown any intention of challenging him for his position.

Points of Interest

• The Broken Thorn - A fairly large sized tavern near the Merchant's Gate.

• The Dirgel Woods - A deeply forested and unexplored woods to the northwest of town.

• The Shrine of Cobtha - A stone statue of Cobtha, Spirit of Luck; sometimes it visits the shrine to those it is amused by.

Citizens

• Buffalo Jack: Male Chikyu Sheriff, Good.

• Olman: Male Human farmer, Good. Olman has blonde hair and hazel eyes, and pointed ears hinting at elvish blood. He wears modest but well-made clothing and several small tools hang from his belt. Olman is a practiced gambler, and has had several sheep been killed on his farm lately.

• Carda: Female Chikyu town guard, Good. Carda is youthful in appearance, with thin white hair and green eyes. She wears chain mail and wields a long sword and light crossbow.

• Lata: Male Human merchant, Evil. Lata is tall, with gray hair and gray eyes. He wears well-made clothing and a copper amulet.

• Ringe: Male Elf mercenary, Evil. Ringe has matted brown hair and narrow hazel eyes. He wears banded mail and wields a warhammer. Ringe believes that he is being hunted by supernatural creatures.

• Manda: Female Chikyu bard, Good. Manda has cropped red hair and dark hazel eyes, and a magical mark on her leg. She wears fine clothing. Manda is cursed with a maimed hand.
